On February 8, 2009, at a Puppy Match in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Shaya (Laketower Brilliant Disguise), won the Sporting Group! Congratulations to Gerry Young & Shaya!!
On February 14, 2009, Flash (AM & CAN CH Jangio's Lightning Bug, RN, CGC) earned his second CD leg with a score of 195 1/2. (He placed second in the class of 16 after he and a very surprised Winnie lost a runoff for 1st place.) Congratulations Winnie & Flash!! I'm so proud of you two!!!
On February 15, 2009, Flash earned his third CD leg, and the title, with a score of 184 1/2. Way to go Winnie and Flash (AM & CAN CH Jangio's Lightning Bug, CD, RN, CGC, ROM)!!!
On February 28, 2009, Beth (Kelsmere Kokora) earned her first major at the Maryland Sporting Dog Show under Judge Kathryn Cowsert. Congratulations to Winnie & Beth!!!
On April 3, 2009, Sal (CH Laketower Laff In The Dark, RN, CGC) earned her first Rally Advanced leg at the Youngstown All-Breed Obedience trial. Congratulations to Sal and her owner, Sue Davis!!!
On April 10, 2009 Beth (Kelsmere Kokora) earned two more points at the Chambersburg KC Show under Judge Allen Brown!!!
On April 22, 2009, at the CCRCA National Specialty, Sal (CH Laketower Laff In The Dark, RN, CGC) earned her first Companion Dog leg with a second place, and her second Rally Advanced leg with a third place. Congratulations to Sue & Sal!!!
On April 24, 2009, at the CCRCA National Specialty, Shaya (Laketower Brilliant Disguise) earned 2nd place in the 12-18 mo. bitch class. Her half sisters, Sal (CH Laketower Laff In The Dark, RN, CGC) and Grear (CH Chocca-Shaw's Dawn Comes Quickly, WC, CGC) won the large brace class. (The judge stated that she had never witnessed two dogs who were so much in unison). Grear also won one of the five Judge's Awards of Merit. Shaya's mom and dad, Flash (AM & CAN CH Jangio's Lightning Bug, CD, RN, CGC, ROM) and Magda (AM & CAN CH Cobbossee's Magda Worden, WC) were pulled in Best of Breed, but didn't make it to the ribbons. Congratulations to all of the Laketower dogs (and related to Laketower) that competed and had fun!
On May 16, 2009 at the International Dog Shows in Washington, PA, Sal (CH Laketower Laff In the Dark, RN, CGC) earned a Group 2 placement under Judge Alberto Berrios. Congratulations to Sue and Sal!!!
On May 17, 2009 at the Tantramar Dog Show in Nova Scotia, Shaya (Laketower Brilliant Disguise) earned a Group 4 placement and her first Canadian CH point!! The judge was Michael Shoreman. Congratulations to Gerry Young & Shaya!!

On June 14, 2009, Sal (CH Laketower Laff in the Dark, RN, CGC) earned her American Temperament Test Society title. Of course, we always knew that she had a great temperament. :)
On July 4, 2009, Sal (CH Laketower Laff In The Dark, RN, CGC) won a Group 2 at the UKC Carnation City KC Shows!! Congratulations to Sue and Sal!!!
On July 5, 2009, Beth (Kelsmere Kokora) earned her AKC CH with a three-point major under Judge Lorraine Bisso. Way to go, Beth!! Congratulations to Winnie!!
